Champions League: Osimhen Tops Player of the Match Awards List

Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen has emerged as the current leader in the Player of the Match standings in the ongoing UEFA Champions League.

The Galatasaray striker has claimed the award four times this season, the highest number recorded by any player so far in the competition.

Osimhen’s fourth award came during Galatasaray’s clash with Italian club Juventus in Turin, where the Nigerian delivered another strong performance.

The 25-year-old striker has also been prolific in front of goal, scoring seven goals in eight Champions League appearances.

His consistent performances have helped Galatasaray reach the knockout stages of the tournament.

Galatasaray will take on English Premier League side Liverpool in the Round of 16, with the first leg scheduled to take place at RAMS Park.
