The family of late Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo has officially announced the funeral arrangements for the actor following his death.

In a statement shared through the actor’s social media page, the Ekubo-Okwaraeke family described him as a man remembered for his kindness, faith and generosity.

The family confirmed that a service of songs will hold on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at The Monarch Event Center in Lekki, Lagos.

The event is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with guests expected to wear white outfits.

Wake and Burial Details

The wake keep is scheduled for Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at the family residence in Ujari Village, Arochukwu, Abia State.

According to the announcement, the funeral service will take place on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Mary Slessor School in Amanagwu Village, Arochukwu.

Interment will follow immediately at the family compound.

Reception to Follow Burial

The family added that a reception would hold after the burial ceremony at Mary Slessor School in Abia State.

Guests attending the reception are also expected to wear white.

The statement urged friends, colleagues, fans and well-wishers to continue praying for the family during the mourning period.
